Long John Silver’s, a national quick-service restaurant chain specializing in seafood, has opened a rebuilt location in Toledo.
The restaurant at 1814 W. Alexis Rd. was built on the site of the chain’s last Toledo store, which was demolished this year to make way for the new building.
The new facility features the company’s reimagined restaurant design, officials said. It includes new furniture and artwork, digital menu boards, and other upgrades to enhance dine-in, carryout, and mobile orders.
“We designed our new restaurant image with the guest experience at the forefront,” said Leigh Ann VanDam, vice president of design and development at Long John Silver’s.
The eatery’s menu includes the chain’s iconic batter-dipped fish, hushpuppies, shrimp, and chicken, as well as grilled salmon, shrimp tacos, bowls, and more.
Customers can also skip the line and order ahead using Long John Silver’s mobile app.
The Toledo location is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The only other remaining Long John Silver’s in the metro Toledo area is the Maumee location, 1027 Conant St.
