FINDLAY — A multimillion-dollar distribution facility for Sheetz is on track to open in the fall of 2026, the company announced.

The gas station and convenience store chain confirmed that the $169 million project is continuing to make progress after breaking ground in October, 2024.

While no official opening date was provided, once it is complete, the building will house new food preparation and distribution services for Sheetz. The facility will support the more than 130 convenience store locations across Ohio.

With the facility’s pending completion, the company announced its plans to hire department managers throughout the distribution and bakery/ready-to-eat operations at the facility. The company said it also plans to create more than 700 jobs over the next five years.

The managers will oversee labor, equipment, and production processes in their departments. Preferred candidates should have at least five years of experience in supply chain or production operations, along with a minimum of one year in a supervisory role, the company said.

Interested candidates can apply online by going to jobs.sheetz.com.

Sheetz now has seven locations within the Toledo area with plans to open several more in the coming years, the company said.
