Donny Osmond at the Stranahan and The Beatles music by candlelight

Whether he’s a soldier of love or singing about puppy love, Donny Osmond is a pop culture titan. A member of one of the most famous showbusiness families of all time, Osmond will be bringing a lifetime of hits to the Stranahan Theater on Friday at Donny Osmond: Direct From Vegas.

Tickets range from $56 to $355 and various VIP packages are available. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. One dollar from each ticket will go directly to national cancer institute City of Hope.

■ Experience the Fab Four as you’ve never seen or heard them before at Candlelight: The Best of The Beatles, a concert featuring Beatles music played live accompanied by candlelight. Taking place on Friday, with doors at 6:30 p.m., this hour long concert features some of The Beatles greatest hits performed amidst flickering candles.

The concert takes place on Friday at The Summit Toledo, located at 23 N. Summit St. Tickets are $36.

■ Lace up your roller skates or roller blades and come down to Glass City Metropark at 1505 Front St. on Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the second annual Retro Skate Party.

Admission is free, skate rental is $8 for adults and $5 for kids. Featuring music from DJ Adubb, come enjoy an evening of roller skating entertainment.
